Choc and Coconut Bare Balls

Great snack when you are on the run. A nutritious and super delicious protein ball that even the kids will love.

  • Prep: 30 mins
  • Yields: Approx 20

Ingredients

1 cup Desiccated Coconut

1 cup Almonds (Raw)

6 Medjool dates

4 TBS Almond or nut butter (I use Mayver’s Original Super Spread)

2 TBS Raw Cacao Powder

2 TBS Virgin Coconut Oil (Melted)

Directions

1Add almonds and coconut in a food processor until a course grain forms. Blend in nut butter, coconut oil and cacao. Slowly add (pitted) majool dates, one at a time, until you find a sticky consistency has formed.

2I roughly make them into bite-sized balls and then roll them in coconut. Keep them in a sealed container in the fridge and they will last for weeks.
