Peanut Butter – Crunchy

One of the first things I did when I decided to change my health is to religiously read labels.
I thought it would be helpful if I showed you a few popular brands, what I use, and ingredients to look out for.
This week, I chose Crunchy Peanut Butter. Why? because it is one of my favourite foods :). In fact, any nut butter keeps me deliriously happy. The good old crunchy PB is usually a staple in most households, even though not permitted in schools.
hmm motto: the less ingredients the better and if budget permits organic is best. In saying this, Pic’s PB for taste gets our vote.
Peanuts are a great source of vitamin E, niacin, folate, protein and manganese. People often avoid PB for fear of the fat content, believe me, it took me almost a year to get over my phobia. It is versatile and nutritious, thus our pantry is never nut butter-free.
